One of the things I love about interviewing artists is their ability, energised by their creative explorations, to play with your senses, invert your perception and flip your reality. And so was the case when I unravelled the work and inspirations of London based sculptural artist Will Mackrell, during our meeting in November 2022.

Photography’s third dimension, the rage of sunflowers, the sensuality of hair and transcending the image, all feature in the machinations that nourish the inner psyche of this assiduous artist.
