Interview with artist Diego Cirulli

I met emerging contemporary artist Diego Cirulli on a dark winter's night in Basel at the start of his exhibition at the BC Gallery in 2021. Stepping into the gallery, I was confronted by the arresting beauty of his works displayed on the wall and was immediately hooked.
 
Born in 1981, this hugely talented Argentinian artist combines modesty and passion in equal measures when you meet him.   One of the country's most exciting artists, he has received awards internationally and his works feature in private collections around the world.
